Gunshots echoed sporadically through the streets. During the pauses, attentive ears would listen out to determine how close the gunman was. What direction they were coming from?
With the streets unsafe, worried Mums hurried to the school to collect their children.
Terrified with the uncertainty of whether they would make it back home alive, her mother invited everyone back to her house, which was closest to the school. Her mother made tea for the Mums to calm them as her daughter played upstairs with all her classmates in her bedroom. For her, it was the best day ever.
