Throughout January I will be posting one hundred words a day, possibly to keep my brain churning, probably to prove that I know more than a hundred words.
There may be a story or an observation. It may be a list.
Let’s see where this goes…
Only nine percent of New Year’s resolutions last the entire year.
I’m surprised that number is so high.
23 percent of people give up in the first week.
43 percent quit by the end of January.
I’ve been one of those quitters.
10K steps a day. Keep a diary.
Once, I even gave up before I’d started, having completely forgotten about the no-alcohol-thing because I was feeling stressed about the very thought of it.
Not this time. This is the new me. The one who knows better than to set themselves up for disappointment.
But then again, I’m writing this.
